Cargo & carrier review
Identify the exact cargo, weight, dimensions, packaging, loading method, route and receiving-site restrictions before confirming the vehicle.
Review the carrier’s business identity, relevant operating/driver/vehicle documents and insurance evidence for the actual route and cargo. Record the reviewer, date and any gaps.
Fuel, sulphur, sulphuric acid and other reagents require different vehicle and handling assessments. Obtain the applicable product specifications and safety information through an agreed channel.
Agree loading and receiving contacts, handover records, seals where applicable, safe access and incident escalation before the cargo moves. These checks are proposed operating procedures, not a carrier certification.
