Heavy Equipment Delivery & Handling Policy

Cargo specifications, route assessment, permits, lifting, insurance and handover for facilitated equipment movements.

Service scope

A-flow facilitates delivery through suitable transport providers. Ownership of trucks, low-bed trailers or cranes is not implied. The accepted quotation identifies A-flow’s role, the executing carrier and any separately contracted lifting provider. This policy is not a cargo insurance certificate or an unconditional transport commitment.

Cargo declaration and route

The client provides make, model, serial number where available, quantity, transport dimensions, weight, centre of gravity if relevant, operating condition, removable attachments and declared value. The carrier assesses vehicle configuration, securing, clearances, bridge and axle constraints, and site access.

Local movement requirements

For equipment subject to U.S. export rules, document classification and the licence, exception or no-licence-required determination for the transaction. Agree exporter responsibilities and any required export filing. Do not assume every industrial machine is controlled or that EAR99 removes end-user restrictions.

Loading, lifting and insurance

The quotation allocates loading, lifting, securing, unloading and site preparation duties. Confirm competent operators and lifting plans where required. Specify cargo cover, insured value, territory, exclusions, excess and claims contacts; motor liability cover alone is not evidence of cargo cover. Liability limits and insurance amounts are established in the applicable written agreement.

Condition, delays and claims

Record condition and photographs at collection and delivery, serial numbers and signed handover. Report damage promptly and preserve evidence. The signed contract must specify claim procedures and lawful time limits, cancellation, waiting time, storage and route-change charges; do not infer these from fuel-delivery terms. Mandatory rights and applicable law take precedence.
